Law Office of Karen Michalson – Dudley, MA

Karen came to us looking for a very simple website to market her law firm in Dudley, Massachusetts. The difficult part of this job was getting around the rules and regulations that the Massachusetts Bar association puts on lawyers when it comes to advertizing services. For example, Karen did not feel comfortable marketing on social media website such as Twitter and Facebook because of some of the rules that the Bar association sets forth. This limited us somewhat to what we could and couldn’t do for web marketing – hopefully one day the bar association will lift some of its restrictions to make it easier for lawyers to market themselves.
We decided to use WordPress as our platform to design the site around, as Karen wanted to be able to add content to the site herself. The site itself is clean and basic, which is what Karen wanted, with a simple sidebar showing her office location and FAQ, and a simple blog that Karen can keep updated with news and information regarding her practice. We focused on local SEO to help the site gain traffic focusing first on on-page SEO and then focusing a back-linking campaign in the fall of 2011.
Scott’s Auto Repair – North Oxford, MA

Scott’s Auto Repair is a new auto-repair and auto-body business located at the intersections of Auburn, North Oxford, and Leicester, Massachusetts. Scott, the owner, wanted a way to promote his business online and asked us for some help. After finding that he was a small one person shop with a limited budget, we recommended our $500 WordPress package.
The site itself was build in just a little over one day and was up and online two days after Scott originally contacted us. The site itself is mobile device friendly and features five pages, including a blog and contact form that will allow users to make appointments and ask questions. Each page has been optimized for Search Engines, and the site has been submitted to Google and other major search engines for listing.
Shortly after the site was launched, we gave Scott a training session on his new site, so that he could update and maintain it as his business expands.
Jenn’s Photo – Dudley, MA

Jenn came to us looking to revamp her existing site that was running on Flash and was not attracting the customers that she had hoped. Upon some investigation, we found that her site was performing poorly in search engines and had a website grade of only 16 according to HubSpot. Since Jenn was a power Facebook user with over 2500 fans following her, we knew that if we built her a website that was easy for her to update and tied into social media networks, that she would quickly see positive results.
We decided to use WordPress as our platform to design the site around, mainly for its ease of use, great SEO support, and ease of integrating it with her existing Facebook profile. In a very short development cycle of a couple of weeks we were able to design a site that met Jenn’s personality and show off her great photography. The site itself features a custom homepage that features a large HTML/JavaScript slideshow, and the ability for Jenn to dynamically control the images that are displayed on the homepage through a a simple control panel that pulls data from her four photo-galleries that we set up. The site also features a page for customer reviews, a blog for Jenn to post updates about her work on, and an easy to use contact form. The site is also Mobile Friendly, working on smartphones and tablets including the iPad and iPhone.
Since the launch over this past weekend, her website grade has already gone up to 82 (and climbing) – and she is getting an average of 75-100 people per day viewing her site. She is already in the top 5 rankings on Google for her main keyword and most popular photo session!
Hanover Personal Lines Site – Worcester, MA

The Hanover Insurance Group is based in Worcester, Massachusetts and provides both personal and commercial lines of insurance nationally. This site was developed in early 2010 for the personal lines side of the business, whom wanted a more customer focused website to market their new products and services. The site itself is developed in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and was designed to fit in with Hanover’s existing corporate templates.
When the site launched in the spring of 2010, Hanover saw a 150% increase in traffic and a 50% gain in traffic from search engines.

Central Mass Video is the Wedding Videography website of Lakota Den Productions. This website was designed on the WordPress platform and customized with a JQuery rotating video player. The site also features a built in Twitter feed, and the ability to show the same post differently depending on what page the user is currently viewing (i.e. viewing the same post in the Samples page area gives the user a different result than viewing the post in the Blog).
Search Engine efforts revolve around the Wedding Videography in the Central Massachusetts area, and the success of the SEO campaigns have allowed Central Mass Video to stop paid advertisements as all of its clients are currently finding us through search engines or by word-of-mouth referrals.
KD Scientific

KDScientific is a wholesale lab equipment supplier based in Central Massachusetts. Their website is designed to promote their products and allow for labs and educational institutions to find out about their product and then request a personalized quote.
The site is built on an ASP based platform, and utilizes an Javascript based menus. Flash is also used across the site for its featured products and instructional videos.
Search Engine Optimization efforts focused on their top products, such as Syringe Pumps, where it is consistently ranked in the top 3 on Google and other search engines, despite heavy competition from much larger companies
Scientific Lab Supply – Boston, MA

Scientific Lab Supply is a wholesaler for industrial lab equipment that sells directly to the customer through their e-commerce website. The site features a secure administrative back-end that allows staff to add new products, adjust prices, and manage sales, in addition to the standard e-commerce front-end that consumers views. The site utilizes a PayPal connector to process credit card transactions.
Search Engine Optimization efforts were focused on the major product lines. Despite being a new site and competing with much larger companies, they are constantly ranked in the top 10-20 positions for their product line
Ryan and Becky’s Wedding Website

A basic wedding website for a couple to post information about an upcoming wedding to guests. A PhP/MySQL based form allowed guests to send in song ideas for the wedding. The site also included a flash-based image gallery of the couple and of events leading up to their big day.
Nipmuc Water Ski Club – Webster, MA

The Nipmuc Water Ski Club is a non-profit organization on Webster Lake that serves as a family-friendly place to learn how to water ski. The club was looking for a basic site to market itself and to post news items about recent events, club information, history and membership.
Search engine optimization efforts were based on “Water Skiing on Webster Lake” where it currently sits in the #1 position on Google.
