Mobile Web Development
iPads, iPhones, and Driods - we got you covered
With smart phones and tablets on the rise, the future of digital marketing will be all about ‘going mobile.’ According to Morgan Stanley, by 2015, the mobile web will be bigger than desktop internet use. A nice looking/user friendly website on a desktop does not necessarily translate to a similar experience for your users on mobile devices.
The good news is that the transition to the mobile doesn’t have to be a hard one or a difficult one for your business. A properly constructed website should work on most modern mobile devices, so long as they follow a couple of simple rules. Unfortunately, a lot of corporate and small business websites don’t follow these simple rules, and thus will have difficulty harnessing the full potential of the portable web.
We at Massachusetts Web Designs know what to look for in a site to make it “mobile friendly” and can help your business get there. We start by thoroughly reviewing your current website and address all the areas which make it “break” in the mobile web (such as the use of proprietary applications, incorrect styles, table based layouts, etc). We list all these “problem” area in detail and give you recommendations on how to fix them.
But what about Apps? Don’t I need one of those?
We don’t think so, at least at this moment in time. A lot of data that we have collected over the past year has suggested that for most businesses, focusing on the mobile web over web apps gives your company a wider marketing range and a greater return on investment.
